・北斗の拳とは、武論尊（原作）、原哲夫（作画）による日本の格闘漫画で、およびそれを原作にしたアニメやゲームなどの派生作品です。物語は、核戦争によって文明と人々の秩序が失われた世紀末の世界で、伝説の暗殺拳・北斗神拳の伝承者・ケンシロウが、愛する女性・ユリアを奪ったライバルや悪党たちと戦いながら、生きる意味や希望を見出していく姿を描いています。

北斗の拳は、激しい戦闘シーンや感動的な人間ドラマ、独特な設定やキャラクターなどが魅力で、当時の日本では大きな人気を博しました。また、子供だけでなく大人にも人気があり、格闘技や漫画・アニメの影響を与えました。漫画やアニメは何度もリメイクされ、最新作は2020年から配信されています。

「地球は核の爆弾で壊れてしまいました。人々は食べ物や水が少なくて困っていました。悪い人たちは弱い人たちをいじめて楽しんでいました。そんな中、ケンシロウという強い男が現れました。ケンシロウは北斗神拳というすごい拳法を使えました。北斗神拳は相手の体のツボを突くと頭や体がパンパンに膨らんで爆発してしまうんです。ケンシロウは悪い人たちに「お前はもう死んでいる」と言って倒していきました。でも、ケンシロウは本当は優しい心を持っていました。ケンシロウはユリアという女性が大好きでした。でも、ユリアはケンシロウの親友だったシンという男にさらわれてしまいました。シンも南斗聖拳というすごい拳法を使えました。南斗聖拳は相手の体のツボを突くと内臓が破裂して死んでしまうんです。ケンシロウはユリアを取り戻すために旅を始めました。旅の途中で出会ったリンやバットという子供たちや、他の強い拳法使いたちと一緒に冒険したり戦ったりしました。そして、ケンシロウは自分の兄弟だったラオウやカイオウという最強の敵と対決しました。ラオウやカイオウも北斗神拳を使えましたが、それぞれ違う流派でした。ケンシロウはラオウやカイオウとの戦いで自分の信念や正義を貫きました。そして、ケンシロウはユリアと再会することができました。」

・Fist of the North Star is a Japanese martial arts manga by Buronson (story) and Tetsuo Hara (art), and also a derivative work based on it, such as anime and games. The story depicts the life of Kenshiro, the successor of the legendary assassination fist Hokuto Shinken, who fights against his rivals and villains who took away his beloved woman Yuria, while finding meaning and hope in living in the post-apocalyptic world caused by a nuclear war.

Fist of the North Star was attractive for its intense battle scenes, emotional human drama, unique settings and characters, and gained great popularity in Japan at that time. It was also popular among not only children but also adults, and influenced martial arts and manga/anime. The manga and anime have been remade many times, and the latest work has been distributed since 2020.

“The earth was broken by nuclear bombs. People were in trouble because there was little food and water. Bad people enjoyed bullying weak people. In such a situation, a strong man named Kenshiro appeared. Kenshiro could use a great martial art called Hokuto Shinken. Hokuto Shinken is a martial art that makes the opponent’s head or body swell up and explode by hitting the acupoints on their body. Kenshiro defeated the bad guys by saying “You are already dead”. But Kenshiro actually had a kind heart. Kenshiro loved a woman named Yuria. But Yuria was taken away by Shin, who was Kenshiro’s best friend. Shin could also use a great martial art called Nanto Seiken. Nanto Seiken is a martial art that makes the opponent’s internal organs rupture and die by hitting the acupoints on their body. Kenshiro started a journey to get Yuria back. On the way, he met children named Rin and Bat and other strong martial artists and had adventures and fights with them. And Kenshiro confronted his brothers Raoh and Kaioh, who were the strongest enemies. Raoh and Kaioh could also use Hokuto Shinken, but they were different schools. Kenshiro stuck to his beliefs and justice in his fights with Raoh and Kaioh. And Kenshiro was able to reunite with Yuria.”
