ワンピースって？What is One Piece?

・ワンピースとは、尾田栄一郎さんが描いた漫画や、それをもとにしたアニメや映画のことだよ。主人公は、ゴムゴムの実という不思議な果物を食べてゴムのように体が伸びるようになった少年・モンキー・D・ルフィくん。ルフィくんは、かつてこの世の全てを手に入れた海賊王・ゴールド・ロジャーさんが残したという伝説の宝物「ワンピース」を探すために、海賊になることを決めるんだ。海賊王を目指すルフィくんは、仲間たちと一緒に大海原を冒険するんだ。

ルフィくんの仲間には、剣士のロロノア・ゾロくん、泥棒猫のナミちゃん、嘘つきのウソップくん、料理人のサンジくん、航海士のトニートニー・チョッパーくん、考古学者のニコ・ロビンちゃん、船大工のフランキーさん、音楽家のブルックさんがいるよ。彼らは麦わらの一味と呼ばれる海賊団を結成しているよ。麦わらの一味は仲間同士で助け合って、色々な敵や困難に立ち向かっていくよ。

ワンピースは1997年から週刊少年ジャンプで連載されて、2023年現在も続いているよ。アニメでは1999年からフジテレビで放送されて、映画も2000年から毎年公開されているよ。ワンピースは日本だけでなく世界中でも人気があって、色々な国の言葉に翻訳されているよ。

・One Piece is a manga by Eiichiro Oda, and an anime and movie based on it. The protagonist is Monkey D. Luffy, a young boy who ate a mysterious fruit called the Gum-Gum Fruit and became able to stretch his body like rubber. Luffy decides to become a pirate in order to find the legendary treasure “One Piece” left by the Pirate King Gold Roger, who once obtained everything in this world. Luffy aims to become the Pirate King and goes on an adventure with his friends on the vast ocean.

Luffy’s friends are Roronoa Zoro, a swordsman, Nami, a cat burglar, Usopp, a liar, Sanji, a cook, Tony Tony Chopper, a doctor, Nico Robin, an archaeologist, Franky, a shipwright, and Brook, a musician. They form a pirate crew called the Straw Hat Pirates. The Straw Hat Pirates help each other and face various enemies and difficulties.

One Piece has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump since 1997 and is still ongoing as of 2023. The anime has been broadcast on Fuji TV since 1999 and movies have been released every year since 2000. One Piece is popular not only in Japan but also around the world and has been translated into various languages.
